Policy modes
Policy is configured in Magento, per website. The platform cannot change it: if it were compromised, the worst it could do is send false matches that Magento would ignore or merely annotate.
| Mode | Effect on the order | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Shadow (initial) | Records the match; does not touch the order | Always at the start, to measure accuracy |
| Annotate | Adds a comment: “matches a Yape notification from [date]. Not a bank confirmation” | When shadow is consistently right |
| Assisted approval | Also lets the team Approve (invoice + status change) from the order | To speed up without automating |
| Automatic | Approves only if the match is unique and meets the store’s rules | Opt-in only, after metrics |
