Configure the payment method

The module ships its own payment method (it does not reuse Check / Money Order). It is an offline method: it calls no gateway and captures no money; the buyer pays in Yape and the system reconciles it.

Where: Stores → Configuration → Sales → Payment Methods → Yape (Hotsale Detector). Switch the Scope to your store’s website: every field is per website. The admin labels are in Spanish.

A fallback, not the main path

The security code and receipt only work while the order is still pending and within the window. They send the order to manual review, where a person approves it. Detection by the phone remains the normal path.

Unique amount

So every open order has a different total, the method subtracts 1 to 99 cents from the total. The buyer sees and must pay that exact amount. The reservation is local: checkout never waits on the network. If no free amount is left, the order is still created without uniqueness, and reconciliation flags it for review if it is ambiguous.
